Our Staff
Pastor David Jensen
Together with his wife Jeannette, David has served as our Pastor at Richmond Baptist for twelve years and has 22 years of experience. David’s positive, faithful and hardworking manner is felt throughout the entire church. We are so blessed to have him leading our staff and church family.
In his spare time, David enjoys walking, reading a good book or hitting the gym. Together David and Jeannette have two adult children.
Office hours: Tuesday to Friday and Sundays
Senior Pastor
Pastor Hans Van Lune
Hans loves connecting with people, seeing then grow and thrive. Hans is passionate genuine discipleship; genuine connection; genuine vulnerability and genuine faith – he is not interested in playing church, but seeing the sick healed, the bound set free and the lonely in the family of God.
He’s been serving in various roles in churches for the past 15 years.
In his spare time he’ll be out walking, enjoying nature and he loves a good coffee.

Associate Pastor
Jeannette Jensen
Jeannette loves meeting the amazing people that come through our office door, so expect a lovely warm hello when you come visit.
When she has some spare time you’ll find her in the ocean for a swim, walking her beautiful dog Cooper or reading a good book.
Office hours: Tuesday to Friday 9am to 1pm

Wayne is relatable, caring, loves to build people up and he has a passion to see people grow deeper in their relationship with God.
In his spare time Wayne enjoys spending time with his family or grilling on the bbq.

Nicola Van Lune
Full of life meet you meet her, she’s ready for a chat or to pray with you.
In Nicola’s spare time you’ll find her out on the ocean paddle boarding exploring new places or enjoying music – especially worship.

He’s our Senior Pastor and one of our valued elders. David loves seeing our church family grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Alister loves the sense of excitement and expectancy within our church community. And he gets a real buzz from seeing the transforming power of God meet needs and touch lives.
In his spare time you are likely to find Alister fixing houses, reading a good book, riding his bike, or enjoying a really good coffee somewhere.
Alister Vautier
Owen enjoys his role of being an elder and loves to connect with and give out big hugs to his church family on Sunday’s.
When Owen gets a spare moment, he’ll head out into the outdoors for a walk or hunt, but he mostly enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Owen Milson
Trevor has been an elder for “yonks” and he enjoys being on the eldership team.
We as a church appreciate Trevor and all his hard work he puts in.
Trevor Borlase
Liesel knows from when she was wee that God is her strength and her shield. She loves to serve the church family through eldership, Sunday cafe, kitchen and in so many other areas. We are grateful to have her part of this family.
Liesel is married to her husband Peter and has two adult children. In her spare time you might find her relaxing at home, spending time with her family or teaching children in schools.

Richard loves and appreciates serving others, praying for them and giving encouragement plus support.
When he has some spare time he’s in his shed making or fixing things, playing some football or enjoying a crackers and cheese platter.
