Giving

Your tithes and offerings are making a difference locally and globally. Thank you for supporting our mission.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves cheerful givers.”

2 Corinthians 9:7

We are continually amazed at the way God faithfully provides for Richmond Baptist. For our ministries, missions, building and operational costs, and staff wages – through the generous giving of the Richmond Baptist family (Philippians 4:14–19; 2 and Corinthians 8:1–5; 9:6–12).

Your giving goes a long way in supporting our operating costs including staff, building expenses, discipleship and supporting our mission work. At the end of each tax year, members are issued a receipt so they can claim a tax rebate. As an individual, donations up to 33% of your taxable income can be claimed as a rebate. (Please note that any donations/gifts given to a specific person are not able to be included in a tax receipt).

While we do not make financial matters a central focus, we believe generosity is an important part of Christian discipleship. Giving is one of the ways we acknowledge Christ’s Lordship over every area of our lives.

Thank you for sharing in the work of God here at Richmond Baptist and beyond in this way.

Ways to Give

We’ve streamlined this process with the ways to give below, to help make the opportunity to give quick and accessible.

Offering Box

During Sunday services, there is an offering box located at the end of the sound desk where you can drop off your donation. Please make sure your donation is in an envelope (available next to the offering box or at church office) with your name or offering number.

We can give you an offering number, just contact the church office. We can then give you a receipt at the end of the tax year.
